Logging In/Registration:

Logging in to Harcourt eProducts provides you with secure and personalized content.

TEACHERS: You must first register at http://register.eharcourtschool.com or click the Register button under I’m a New User to create a log in account for yourself. You will then use the Class/Student Roster Manager to create user accounts (User Names and Passwords) for your students.

STUDENTS: Your teacher will provide you with a User Name and Password. If you have that information, you can log in now at http://eharcourtschool.com . If you do not have that information, please contact your teacher.

After you have acquired a User Name and Password, follow these simple log in directions to access your personalized Harcourt eProducts home page.

1. Go to The Harcourt eProducts Web site at http://eharcourtschool.com
2. Type your User Name and Password.
3. Click the Log In button.Your personalized Harcourt eProducts home page displays with a list of your programs.  

 

 

Minimum Computer Requirements (More Details)

To use Harcourt eProduct Programs, you must have a computer with the following minimum specifications:

  • PC Pentium/300MHz or higher, using Windows 95, NT 4.0, 98 Second Edition, 2000, ME, or XP
  • Mac Power PC 7600 or higher, using OS 8.0 or higher

Harcourt eProducts require a minimum of 32 MB of RAM, although 64 MB is strongly recommended.

Screen Resolution

Harcourt eProducts are designed to run at maximum performance at a screen resolution of 800x600.

To change your screen resolution for a PC:

  • Click Start on the Windows task bar and select Settings, then Control Panel.
  • Locate and select the Display icon in the Control Panel window. The Display Properties dialog box opens.
  • Click the Settings tab. In the lower right corner of the Settings window, find the Screen area slide bar.
  • Check your resolution setting. If your resolution is not set at 800x600, drag the slide bar to that setting.
  • Click OK.

To change your screen resolution for a Mac:

  • Click your Apple menu and select Control Panels.
  • Select Monitors from the Control Panels menu. A window opens with monitor settings.
  • Check the Resolution box to find your setting.
  • Click 800x600 if that is not your current setting.
  • Close the window.

Internet Connection Requirements

To use Harcourt eProducts, you must have at least a 56K Modem/Connection. We highly recommend broadband or a DSL Internet connection for better performance.

Browser Requirements

For optimum performance, we strongly recommend using:

  • Internet Explorer 6.0 for the PC
  • Internet Explorer 5.1 and above for the Macintosh

You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer or Netscape browsers for free at their respective Web sites:

Note : Netscape has certain limitations and does not exactly replicate the optimal user experience derived from using IE. This is due to browser limitations in Netscape. Specifically, Netscape 4.7XX does not allow you to resize the Student desktop.

  • Your browser must be Javascript-enabled.
  • You must also have a secure SSL connection, Port 443 enabled.
